Intermediate SWAT (Level 2)

This course is for Law Enforcement and Military only. 

Location: Northeast Alabama LE Academy at 100 Gamecock Drive, Anniston, AL 36205.

This course is designed for trained SWAT operators who have already mastered foundational skills and are ready to elevate their performance in more complex, high-risk environments using more advanced competencies. Building on Level 1 BTOC fundamentals, this training sharpens decision-making, enhances team synchronization, and introduces more advanced operational concepts required for real-world missions. The focus is on refining execution under pressure—where communication, coordination, and leadership directly impact mission success.

Core Areas of Instruction:

• Integration of BTOC Topics 1-12. 
• Woodland Operations, advanced team movement and dynamic entry refinement
• Multi-room and complex structure clearing
• Large team coordination and communication in high-tempo operations (Air and drone assests)
• Tactical problem-solving in evolving scenarios
• Mission planning and contingency development
• Leadership and initiative within a team environment

Students will be challenged through realistic, scenario-based training that forces them to think, communicate, and act as a cohesive unit. Expect higher standards, increased complexity, and performance-based evaluation throughout the course.
